STACEY JEWELL- Camera Operator

Stacey Jewell began her education at ECU where she studied media production and political science. In 2010 she transferred to University of North Carolina at Wilmington to fully pursue film production. Within a year of attendance, Stacey directed a documentary that was accepted into the 17th Annual Cucalorus Film Festival and The Praxis Film Festival.  In the summer of 2011 she began an internship with Cine Partners. This was a stepping stone towards involvement in the professional film industry as she repaired, set, and delivered lighting equipment to film sets in the Wilmington area. To follow, she began an internship in fall of 2011 with Innocinema. Led by the Justin Goff, recent recipient of the Empact100 – Top 100 Entrepreneurs under 30, she was able to see the business aspect of the film industry as a marketing expert for RED camera accessories. This internship also gave her the opportunity to directly converse with clients in the professional film market. She recently finished an editing internship with Life Stage Films.
